Catherine Earnshaw à à à à à Catherine Earnshaw is the little girl of Mr. Earnshaw and his better half; Catherine falls intensely enamored with Heathcliff, the vagrant Mr. Earnshaw brings home from Liverpool. She was conceived at Wuthering Heights and was raised with her sibling Hindley. Catherine cherishes Heathcliff so seriously that she asserts they are a similar individual yet doesn't wed him in light of the fact that Hindley has debased him after their dad's passing so her longing for social headway persuades her to wed Edgar Linton rather, a neighbor from Thrushcross Grange and he is attractive and rich, another purpose behind Catherine wedding him. She is very energetic about Heathcliff however, and wouldn't like to surrender him. She turns out to be sick when Heathcliff and Edgar battle, and kicks the bucket in labor. Catherine is free-energetic, wild, hasty, and self-important as a youngster, she grows up getting all that she needs as Nelly portrays in section 5, ââ¬ËA wild, mischievous slip she wasââ¬â¢. She is given to attacks of temper, and she is torn between her wild enthusiasm for Heathcliff and her social aspiration. She carries hopelessness to both of the men who love her, at last; Catherineââ¬â¢s narrow-mindedness winds up harming everybody she adores, including herself. As a youngster Cathy was wild and adamant and her assurance empowers her to get everything that she needs.
